  • Warranty

    • When you purchase a new system from Gillette, you receive two types of protection:

      Parts & Equipment Warranty

      Your equipment is covered through our trusted partner, Carrier.

      1 Coverage typically lasts 3–10 years, depending on your system.
      2 We handle registration for you once your system is installed — coverage starts right away.
      3 Annual professional maintenance is required to keep your warranty valid.
      4 All repairs must be done by licensed technicians to stay under warranty.

      Labor Warranty

      Your labor warranty is provided directly by Gillette Services and covers our installation and workmanship.

      1 Usually lasts 1–10 years, depending on your system and package.
      2 Includes a free membership for your first year or two tune-ups to get you started.
      3 Most issues appear within the first year — our preventative maintenance helps stop them early.
      4 Important: This warranty is only valid when Gillette performs the service. If another company works on your system during the warranty period, it may void the coverage. Always contact us first.

    • 1. Customer error: thermostat knocked off the wall, lawn mower damage, etc.
      2. Lack of maintenance: skipped tune-ups or neglected care.
      3. Electrical issues: power surges or insufficient home wiring.
      4. Third-party work: any service done by another company.
      5. Environmental damage: lightning strikes, flooding, hail, or other natural events.
    • We’re here to help whenever you need us. Warranty calls are scheduled Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m. Calls outside these hours may include a dispatch fee, which your technician will always review before any charges.

      Try these quick checks first:

      1. Make sure your breakers and disconnect are on.
      2. Check that your filter is clean.
      3. Ensure the furnace door is securely closed.
      4 Verify all vents are open and unblocked.

      If these don’t solve it, call Gillette Services at 801-465-7760. Explain the issue and what you’ve already checked, and follow any troubleshooting steps we recommend. We’ll get you scheduled for service as soon as possible.

      Pay: $16.00 to $23.00 an hour, depending on experience

      As a New Construction HVAC Installer at Gillette Heating and Air, you'll be responsible for installing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in newly built residential homes and properties. This role requires the ability to read and interpret blueprints, follow construction schedules, and install ductwork, ventilation systems, and HVAC units according to building codes and company standards. You'll work closely with builders, project managers, and other trades to ensure timely and accurate installations. The ideal candidate is experienced, dependable, and able to work independently while maintaining a high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to projects from the ground up and be part of a company known for quality, professionalism, and integrity.

      What You Bring:

      • Experience with new construction installs
      • Familiarity with construction schedules and blueprint reading

      • EPA Certification and RMGA preferred, or a willingness to get

      Pay Range: Up to $45.00 an hour, depending on experience and credentials PLUS incentives based on performance

      Your Role: As an HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems for residential and commercial properties.
