What You’ll Do

• Prepare, modify, and update residential HVAC drawings and layouts
• Assist with drafting ductwork designs and equipment placement for new construction projects
• Review construction plans and incorporate changes into technical drawings
• Work with designers and project managers to ensure drawings are accurate and complete
• Help maintain organized drawing files, revisions, and project documentation
• Learn HVAC design standards, drafting procedures, and applicable building requirements
• Support the drafting team with additional project-related tasks as needed

• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate work
• Basic math, computer, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read or willingness to learn construction plans and technical drawings

Preferred, but Not Required:

• Coursework or training in drafting, CAD, engineering, architecture, or construction management
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar drafting software
• Experience reading blueprints or construction drawings
• Basic understanding of residential construction or mechanical systems

Previous HVAC drafting experience is not required. Training will be provided.

What You’ll Do

As the Residential HVAC New Construction Field Supervisor, you’ll oversee daily field operations for multiple residential construction projects while leading installation crews from rough-in through final startup. You’ll coordinate manpower, schedules, materials, and jobsite priorities to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

Working closely with builders, superintendents, project managers, and company leadership, you’ll monitor construction progress, resolve field challenges, and maintain strong communication throughout each phase of the project. You’ll perform regular jobsite inspections to verify installations meet company quality standards, manufacturer specifications, and local building codes while promoting safe work practices across every crew.

You’ll also mentor Lead Installers, installers, and apprentices by providing technical guidance, coaching, and performance feedback. Your leadership will help improve installation quality, increase productivity, strengthen team performance, and ensure every project reflects Gillette Heating and Air’s commitment to craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking an experienced residential HVAC installation professional with a proven ability to lead crews and manage new construction projects. Candidates should have extensive knowledge of residential HVAC rough-ins, trim-outs, duct systems, equipment installation, airflow, and construction scheduling.

Previous experience as a Lead Installer, HVAC Foreman, Crew Leader, or Field Supervisor is strongly preferred. Successful candidates will possess excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple crews, maintain project schedules, solve field issues, and build strong relationships with builders and project managers.

A strong understanding of residential construction practices, jobsite safety, quality control, and productivity management is essential. Applicants must possess a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

What You’ll Do

• Assist with residential HVAC system installations and replacements
• Install furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and related equipment
• Help install ductwork, ventilation components, thermostats, and accessories
